VW now seem set to take control of Porsche
Porsche need a way out of the hole they are in and VW is the best way out. The two warring side of the Piech family – owners of VW and Porsche – now appear ready to swallow hard and see the inevitable happen. But will it be so bad?
Ralph Gilles promises that Chrysler Group will be "very choosy" about the cars and trucks that get the SRT performance badge. Gilles, recently named head of SRT, is charged with rebuilding the SRT unit, which languished when Chrysler was owned by Cerberus Capital Management. Three new SRT vehicles, versions of the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 sedans and the Jeep Grand Cherokee, will arrive in dealerships this fall, joining the Challenger SRT8.

BMW has announced a limited Edition of the M3 Coupe – the Frozen Silver Edition – with just 100 examples for the UK. Costs £58,720. The BMW M3 Coupe Frozen Silver Edition is the latest limited edition model from BMW which, say BMW, adds £9,000 worth of goodies to the regular M3 for a £4k premium (the Frozen Silver Edition costs £58,720).
